James Campton
Hey, i'm Jimmy, or James, or any mix of the two. I moved to Launceston about a year ago to start studying a bachelor of Computing with a HITLab major.
I have have had many hobbies over the years but gaming has always been top of the list, be it video games or table top games. At the moment i am mostly playing League of Legends and Magic the Gathering.
I've been playing games for 17 years now, ever since i first played on my friends SNES when Donkey Kong Country came out. Then we got our own Sega Master System and PC, and i have barely left the house since. My three favorite games of all time will always be Final Fantasy 7, Mission Force Cyberstorm and League of Legends. Final Fantasy got me hooked on the RPG genre and Mission Force Cyberstorm is still one of the best strategy games I've ever played. However, it is fair to say I've clocked more hours on League than any other game I've ever played by far.
Picking this course was an easy choice as i am wanting to take a career in Interactive Entertainment using the HITLab technology. Only after starting this course did i realize it was mostly about gaming, and now it's definitely my favorite subject this semester.
